Saturday, December 24, 1955
Rash of corsages – & a colored wedding at last minute! Sold out on poinsettias. Also $60 ordered for Monday. Things went well though. Through about 4:00 except wedding. Gifts exchanged. To Mary’s for supper & opened gifts. Electric ice cream freezer & weather vane. David microscope, Kathy ice skates. Home at 9:30.

Friday, December 23, 1955
Up at 7:00 & did Rice-Packer wedding here. Delivered it & then to shop. More corsages. Kathy & Caroline Foos had supper ready. Pot roast & dressing. Kathy & Caroline to MUF Carol sing. I wrapped gifts. Bed at 1:00.

Thursday, December 22, 1955
Daddy to Fostoria & got 83 more poinsttias. Callie Stout is getting our lunch this week but by noon I was too sick to eat. Headache, etc. On davenport all PM Don finished order for 13 corsages. Mary & Rocky brought me home & did church at Caledonia. Kathy & David’s program at school.

Wednesday, December 21, 1955
Helped June Graham clean until 10. Then in & on corsages most of day. Had evening at home but so pewed I just sat. Mrs. Schrader did my ironing this week.

Tuesday, December 20, 1955
14 corsages for Nurses Dinner among other things.

Monday, December 19, 1955
To Mrs. Danners to help her with mantle. Stayed in over supper. (David in after school to get new frames for glasses.) Then shopping. Got Ruth Ruhlman a sweater. Then to Burroughs Club at Lela Brookshires for party of party. Home about 11:00. Kathy had baked.

Saturday, December 17, 1955
In at 9 – Kathy too – 20 corsaages for Jobs Daughters dance & numerous door swags. Don helped me do Hiway Hotel for Danner Buick dinner. Got Christmas tree at Wises $5! but nice spruce. With good help from David got it up. Kathy to choir practice & then wrapping packages.

Sunday, December 18, 1955
Finished tree & decorated mail box. To school in PM for Kathy’s Christmas musical program. Deysons, Rockwells, Browns, Mother & Betty Lou Jones for Advent Candles & Dick Burris.

Friday, December 16, 1955
In at 9:30 – 11 corsages for Tecumseh dinner & at the last minute 8 orchids. Shopped from 7:30 till 9 & got electic skillets for Mary & Rocky & Mother & Daddy. Duaflex IV flash camera, clothes & pogo stick for kids. Spotlight & kid gloves for Sandra. Bed at 10:00. Got car radio no charge.

Thursday, December 15, 1955
Shop all day. Daddy brought kids in when delivering funeral stuff. To Sr. Circle CCL for talk. Blanche Hurley. Nice group. Home 12 PM. $5.
