Sunday, February 12, 1956
In at 8:30 to do Hindman-Haas wedding. My part ok – but what a reception! Then to Max & Fran Allan’s to do decorating for their 25th wedding anniversary. Served me punch, nuts & cake. Kathy to MYF & church & not home until 11:30. Provoked me.

Saturday, February 11, 1956
Kathy to Delaware for music Festival so got Beth Hanning to help me to 40 corsages. Finished at 5:30 & so to Hutchmans for dinner. Showed pictures. Nice visit. Home about 10:45. Kathy in at 11:30.

Friday, February 10, 1956
In about 3:00 to meet Jill Pluchet to finish wedding plans. Kathy & David to basket ball so I went in & got spreads for Kathy’s beds & material & seat cover for bathroom. Then to shop to work on tomorrow’s corsages. Fanny, Floy & Mary Baker there – helped.

Thursday, February 9, 1956
Worked on income tax. Miserable day. Fog & mist. Temp 38 – still some snow on ground. David to Patrol meeting after school. All thrilled. Kathy to surprise birthday party for Marilyn Lyon. Ironed. Scrabble with David – crocheted. Bed 11:30.

Wednesday, February 8, 1956
Beautiful day. Worked in greenhouse A.M. Cleaned David’s room P.M. Washed walls & rearranged. Kathy at Jay-Kay after school. Want her to write ads for them.

Tuesday, February 7, 1956
Read “Valley of the Vines” & “Space Ship Under the Apple Tree”. David to first scount meeting at 7:00. Kathy piled up with headache.

Monday, February 6, 1956
Took Kathy to school to sing in chorus for County Teacher’s Meeting. David in with me. Worked till 2:30 then to library with David. Kathy had nice supper ready. Me headached. To bed at 6:15.

Sunday, February 5, 1956
Kathy to Sunday School & church. David down to Boger’s corner skating A.M. Me back with him PM but too soft. Daddy hiked with me all over. Mother & Aunt Lily watched birds out window. Paris & Helen Romine, MargaretAnn & Bruce out & we hiked across river. Mary & Rocky out – just talked.

Saturday, February 4, 1956
Finally got unstuck & took Kathy to band practice. David & I in to work.

Friday, February 3, 1956
Was to show slides of Flower Show at Garden Club but too busy at shop so had Erma Hutchman do it. Morrall & Green Camp homecomings & finished wedding. Got stuck in my drive tonight so Pat Esterline had to come pick Kathy up to Waldo game.
