Saturday, March 3, 1956
In at 9 to do Zimmerman wedding. Kathy grand help. Then shopped for her Easter outfit. Got blue suit – $16 & pink hat $3 & girdle $6. Stopped at Mary & Rocky’s & they gave me “Terradise” sign. Home about 9 & to bed early.

Friday, March 2, 1956
Cleaned rec room, living room, kitchen & bath & left belatedly for Garden Club. Intruduced Mr. Dickson from cemetery as speaker. Home & Kathy had good start on dinner for Jordans. Bob late because of chres. Nice visit. Ask Mary if she would like a job.

Thursday, March 1, 1956
Washed & ironed – washed windows in & out. Nice day 55 but windy. Mr. Zachman called from Memorial Methodist Church. Wrote letters for info to give kids on floristry for “Career Day”. Kathy to cabinet meeting.

Wednesday, February 29, 1956
David home with headache. Bumped head on ice last night. I cleaned garage. Worked until 11:00 PM. Kathy made donuts. She got B in Home Ec. Can’t understand it with all the extra things she does. President Eisenhower will run again!

Monday, February 27, 1956
In to work about 10:00. PM worked on income tax with adding machine. To Girl Scout Board at 6:30 for potluck supper – snowing badly & kids home alone so didn’t stay for meeting. 4″ snow & still coming down. Finished David’s painting.

Tuesday, February 28, 1956
Ironed A.M. In at 3:30 for Gilmore wdding appointment. Made delivery to Nancy Jordan from Allen Fix. David to Scout meeting and Kathy & I to Community Club. Panel Discussion on philosophy of Education. Home 11:00.

Sunday, February 26, 1956
Kathy to Sunday School. I re-hung draperies in my room & cleaned it. Stull girls, Irene Clark & Ben Snider here for minutes. River down in bank on this side, then came up again. Picked up Mary & Carl Jordan & took drive to Delaware Dam area. Kathy to MYF. Finished painting. TV.

Saturday, February 25, 1956
Home all day. Cleaned greenhouse & David helped me sort pots & put under bench. Kathy made cream puffs. To Coliseum for Tournament Finals. Prospect beat Claridon & Pleasant beat Meeker. At mother’s after. Neva & Jim are taking Greenwood.*

At shop. Cleaned but really my corner. Two weddings. Home about 6:30.
