Saturday, April 21, 1956
In at 9 to do wedding & corsages for LaRue Prom. Sold 3 weddings. Home about 7:30 & read paper & to bed. Kids home with delivery at 1 & shot arrows.
Silverthorns moved in Stanley’s house. Ran out of gas on Greenwood St. & big hole in road over culvert here.

Friday, April 20, 1956
Still not much doing at shop & got along fine. Folks arrived home just as I was leaving at 6:00.

Thursday, April 19, 1956
In at 10 to work & home at 3:00 bringing tub of dirt for transplanting petunias to flats. Back at 6:00 for wedding appointment. TV this evening & ironed David’s things. Sunny today but still cold. High 50 low 32.

At shop.

Wednesday, April 18, 1956
Mother & Daddy off for short vacation leaving Don Stahl, Lydia Deyson & I in charge. Nothing doing at shop. Left at 5:15 & bought lawn seeder & fertilizer spreader. To Mary Jordan’s for visit tonight. Home at 9:30 & to bed. Cold!

Monday, April 16, 1956
In to work at 10 – Met with Mary K Stone and Vi Fetter at 3:30 to go over Cinci meeting. Sorted slides for tonights talk. Wedding appointment at 7:00. Burroughs at 8:30 & gave talk on Wildflowers using 4 trays of slides. David voted an honorary member of the club. Kathy stayed home to study for science dist rict test.

Sunday, April 15, 1956
Took Keith Brown in with me. Did McClung wedding appointment. then made 3 funeral pieces. Don Stahl, Lydia Deyson, Ron Everly all working. After wedding finished income tax & mailed it. Home & David & I hiked in woods. Paris & Dad Romine out to fish & Paris brought & planted persimmon tree. Pat Esterline here for supper & all night. TV.

Thursday, April 12, 1956 [in Cincinnati for Girl Scout meeting]
Vivian Adams left for work at 8:30 & Ken Ozier took me for quick tour of Cincinnati – Mt. Adams – Eden Park – etc. then to his house to see his paintings. More meetings Girl Scouts & left for home at 3:00 – arrived at 6:45. Headache & so to bed. Kids OK – Kathy at Caroline Foos & David at Noggles last night.
