Monday, June 18, 1956
Full schedule in full swing. Kathy loving it & has picked up a bf – only 13 boys here & 90 girls. Did biords for Nature Study & not much response. Planning skit for tomorrow “Athenean Ma der [sic?]”

Sunday, June 17, 1956
In at 5:30 to do Roe Fetter wedding. Phalaenopsis Orchids! Kathy & Nancy Alderich left for Assembly with Rev. Holloway. I packed after wedding & arrive at 7:15. Kathy & I both in Stone – she in basement. Me counselor on 2nd floor rooming with Elvira Downey. 15 nice girls to counsel.

Saturday, June 16, 1956
In at 8:15 – Emma Wade back as extra. Isabelle Scott also working. Ron Everly’s last day. Has job at Marion Star. Got out statements & paid daddy $350 for 2 months weddings. Home & ironed. Made ice cream & took to Silverthorns for wiener roast. Roberts there too. Bob Swisher to [illegible]

Friday, June 15, 1956
Home all day – but so much to do. Washed & ironed. Mary & guy Simon stopped for few mintues. In to Marion to shop.

Thursday, June 14, 1956
Mr. Deyson out to mow lower lawn for Girl Scouts coming for picnic. In at 10 & picked up Kathy at Business College & picked up stuff at Presbyterian Church from wedding. Folks & David got home about 1:00. I worked until 6. They & Mary & Rocky out tonight for homemade ice cream. Kathy at reception for new members at church.

Wednesday, June 13, 1956
In at 9:30 & met Kathy at 10 & we shopped. Each got a dress & sports clothes. Busy at shop. Home at 7 making delivery on way. Back to Wesley church at 8 for Girl Scout Council Meeting. On “What’s My Line” Panel. Home about 11, leaving Verna Mae Wolgomott off.

Tuesday, June 12, 1956
Steady grind at shop. Home about 6:30. Edna Brocklesby over for plants. Came in to rest a mintue but slept right on.

Monday, June 11, 1956
Kathy started 6 weeks typing course at Marion Business College ($25). Rides in at 7:15 with Mr. Silverthorn. Had to call Mrs. Deyson in at noon.
