In at 7 – 5 weddings today. All went well but sure did keep me stepping. Three full church decorations – 1 home. 1 Salvation Army. Kathy & Beth Hanning helped. Kathy had date with Bob Swisher tonight. movie with Barb Brooks & Jerry Gorby.

Friday, June 29, 1956
Beth Hanning & Kathy helped me P.M. on 8 weddings for weekend. Home about 6:00 & mowed with daddy’s mower below shack.

Hair cut & set at Ruth Wiers. In & got Kathy & we shopped. I got beige linen hat & purse & brown dress. Bought 10 shares National City Bank stock at auction at bank at 3:00 PM – $55 per share. Planted morning glory seed & set out mum plants & cabbage. To Hellers to give talk. Morral Methodist Sunday School Class.

Tuesday, June 26, 1956
Banking & then to shop. Picked Kathy up at School. Both kids to Dr. Imbody PM for eye examinations. Both need glasses changed. $60. Busy at shop. 75 pieces since Monday 24 corsages today. David to Scout meeting. His first sex [six?] instruction tonight quite natrually in conversation. Planted zinnia seeds.
