Mary Jordan stopped at mother’s & ate lunch with us & invited us to dinner Wednesday. Then out to Mary Cheney’s – She’s all perturbed about gossip about Mary K. Stone & board members resigning.

Saturday, November 24, 1956
Did Terrel-Murphy wedding AM & one at Morral at noon & 2 corsage weddings. Kathy marched in Christmas paarade with Caledonia band.

Friday, November 23, 1956
Beth Hanning in to work & Kathy worked at shop on tomorrow’s weddings. Uptown shopping in evening.

Thursday, November 22, 1956
Up at 7:30 to call Bud Messenger to bring oil & he started furnace. Watched birds in snow. Temp 22. David & I in to Mary’s for turkey & trimmings – wild rice dressing – with Mother & Daddy & Kathy. Took pictures. TV PM. Ran out of gas on way home & Rocky brought some to us. Beth Hanning home with us.

Wednesday, November 21, 1956
Steady business for centerpieces all day at shop. Just sold our case of 24 turkeys. Got home & furnace off. Couldn’t get Bud Messenger to check on oil. Took Kathy to church tosing & then in to Mary’s to help. Standard Oil man out at 11:30 – out of oil.

Tuesday, November 20, 1956
Bathed this AM so went to work at 11:30. Did Thanksgiving orders today. Shopped at Albers. Kathy to school to sing in chorus for Community Club.
Daddy & Mr. Deyson got boat out of river.

Monday, November 19, 1956
Whee! Emma Wade working this week & had over 50 funeral piceces & spray today & about 10 hospital. Then had to load for talk to Galion Garden Club. $10 & sold $12. Home 12 – dead. Mother & Daddy to Mary Baker’s and got chickens. (David watched possum at suet & corn feeder)

Sunday, November 18, 1956
Worked at shop A.M. PM Mrs Deyson & I to Columbus – Walter Engles for Design School. Wonder idea. Supper there. Home about 8:30. Kathy to District meeting MYF Conference on College.
