Billed about 100 “current” past due bills. Mother & Daddy out to Uncle Roys P.M. Kathy cramps when I got home. David & I TV’d. Temp -4 when I went to bed 11 PM.

Tuesday, January 15, 1957
Total of accounts to collection agency now nearly $1,000. Picked Pepi up $2 & no worms I hope. Then to Shirleys for wash & set. Supper & off to Galion for talk to South Side Garden Club (Alice Gruber) $10 & sold $10 vases. Home 11:45. Beautiful moonlight night. Temp 15.

Monday, January 14, 1957
Tabulated business & personal expenses. Listed uncollected accounts for collection agency. To Mary’s for supper & then took Pepi to Dr. Ranck to be dewormed. David & I to Burroughs Club – Eagles. Watched moonlight on snow – clouds, shadows. Bed 11:30.

Sunday, January 13, 1957
Kids to Sunday School & then skating. Swiss steak for dinner. I hiked in woods. Full of animal tracks. To Hutchmans for supper & over to see Jim Weaver’s house on Forest Lawn Drive. Eddie brought Kathy out to MYF. David & I home about 9:30 in snowstorm. Temp 10.

Saturday, January 12, 1957
Gallina wedding at 10 – Cox-White at 2:30 & Stock at 7:45, So kept moving. Also working on Howard Jacoby funeral. Mrs. Deyson to Michigan to see Marjorie & baby. Brought Mike Leonard home with us. Kathy to move with Bob Swisher – Harold Lyons & Bonnie Handschug.

Friday, January 11, 1957
Coldest this winter 3 degrees.
Helen Hanning out to clean. Deposited $200 from savings acct to help on storm windws. Two small weddings at shope & appointment for another. Kathy in shopping after school. David in with Helen Hanning. Supper at Mothers. I worked on tomorrow’s wedding. Kathy to New Bloomington game. Me home at 9:30 & bed.

Thursday, January 10, 1957
Snow & ice. Electricity off & I flooded greenhouse cause I didn’t know hose was on. In at 1:00. Uptown. Got 2 blouses at Franks $5.00. Files for shop at Wiants. TV tonight & helped Kathy study for exams.

Wednesday, January 9, 1957
Day off spent it all cleaning up greenhouse. Threw away frozen stuff, etc. Picked kids up at school & got last polio shots. David says he “feels safe now.” Jim Weaver out with bill for storm windows $348. Paid by check.

Tuesday, January 8, 1957
Finished inventory & typed it up. Fire out in greenhouse last night & froze begonias, foliage plants & scented geraniums. Daddy out to light stove & cut at trees in river with chain saw. David & I brought wood up from ice into garage.

Monday, January 7, 1957
Emma Wade & I worked on inventory. Hospital work – plenty. Band Parents cancelled – no business. TV tonight, ironed some.
