Floy called at work this morning and wanted to know if I was going to Fair. Took half hour for lunch rushed home at 4:30 to meet at Fairgrounds at 5:45. Saw Aunt May and Uncle Miles*. Aunt Ruth and Uncle Allen and Betty Morris. Floy and I ran around together. Saw old-fashioned hats and horses. Dog taking care of sheep. Got a magazine, saw Angora rabbits and top knot ducks.

Up at 5:30. Daddy, Mother, Mary, Mister Kellogg and I started for Columbus at 6. Stopped at University Gardens and I got to work at 7:45. They went on to fair. I rushed home for supper tonight and met Floy at fair at 6:15. Saw butter cow and lard pigs- Denison papercraft. Bought a pottery vase, saw my heart beat steady too.
Tractors with rubber tires and a plow daddy should have. Miniature flower arrangements good. Home at 10:00.

Up early and to Mohican State Park near Loudonville. Aunt Sylvia’s and Mary arrived shortly after us. Before dinner Wally and I climbed down to the river (a mere 300-foot practically straight down) and were we ready to eat. After lunch the girls climbed down another way and we followed. Aunt Sylvia gave it up. I’m afraid I’m going to be sore.

Quit at 12 after working like the dickens. Wally met the bus at Marion. He likes my new dress except that it shows too much. I’ll have to wear the slip backwards.
We went to see “In Caliente”. Bernard Brooks came down after and took us out to Rosina’s. Just sat around. Wally and I went to bed about 2. Separate beds

Felt terrible when I got up but went to work. Rushed around at noon looking at dresses- none. Stopped at magazine store and got 2 “House Beautiful” for mother. Stopped at Bullock’s tonight and got a sheer crepe jacket dress blue and white. Washed- fixed new dress hem- ironed- did nails (got some “Manicure” today) did my hair and read Wally’s letter again and so to bed.

Sweet Walt- How much I love you. Went to the show with Louis tonight. You have to go with someone you don’t love to realize how much nicer it is to go with someone you do.
Laura, Ed, Louis and I were going to see Will Rogers in “Doubting Thomas” but so we’re about 1,000 other people. So we saw Jean Harlow, William Powell, F Tone in “Ruthless”
