Saturday August 30th
After two weddings left for Cincinnati at 4:30 to go to Moonlight Gardens to hear David play with Charlie Cairer[sic – actually Keherer] band- 875 dancing middle-agers loved them.
Kids at Meister’s bed at 2:00. Me on sofa.

Wednesday August 27th
600 friends at First Presbyterian Church for memorial service for Bob Erickson. David and Karen up about 1:45. Met Jay Walker, Melba and Punch as we went into the church. Hink came up with David and sat with Marion and Eleanor[Hinklin]. Eleanor has lost sight of both eyes for reading, TV or close work. Bob very concerned. Jay, Bob and David had a few minutes together at the shop. All invited to Erickson’s but Bob had 5:30 plane for San Francisco out of Columbus, Karen had 6:30 Altrusa dinner and David 7:30 rehearsals.
2 LanJour for dinner with Jordans and Hecker’s. Very hot and humid 90 degrees 95% humidity
