Sunday April 25th open garden sunny and 65 degrees
Put up signs at crossroads next to Terradise and priced plants. Maxine Marshall and her family helped carry plants from greenhouse. Lots of people- Bill Hutchman went down in woods to talk to people. I stayed mostly by plants. Had them all on blacktop. Harters on patio about 250 signed but Mary had a cold and didn’t come out so many didn’t sign. Jane Rupp cashiered. Opal & Erma H sold. Bob and Kensel talked prairie- they all stayed for pizza and more talk. Daffs still blooming but Virginia Bluebells just starting and ostrich Fern still fiddleheads..

Saturday April 23rd [sic]
Made signs for open garden in to Heritage Hall for about 1 hour to enlarge them on copy machine in Resource Center. Home about 2. Don and Ruth Baker came to bring back Bob Sands typewriter that is not repairable. Show them digital pictures but they took time I needed for printing pricing for plants. Stopped at Tri-Rivers horticulture department plant sale and spent $30- one flat of coral impatiens scalaria million bells.
