Wednesday January 29 1930
Had G.R. program & as program chairman I had charge of it. (assembly)
Had Latin exam. Hope I get real good in it.
Got 100 in Algebra exam.

Tuesday January 28 1930
Got 93 in Enlish [sic] exam & 94 in Science. Had Algebra exam. Took a bath & listened to the Johnson & Johnson mystery program. It’s sure good. Can’t hardly wait till next Tuesday when another one comes.

Monday January 27 1930
Had English and Science exam.
That’s enough for one day.
Went to library with Tody & Jeanette [Alexander, lived on Park St.]
Got “Red Pepper Burns” & “Further Cronicles [sic] of Avonlea”

Sunday January 26 1930
The car is on the Blink so didn’t go to S.S.
Minshalls up in aft. Came about 4:00. Stayed for supper & went home at 11:30.
Night
Exams begin tomorrow.

Saturday January 25 1930
Called up Tody first thing. We got beat 23-8. Too Bad.
Stayed home. Mother Baked a cake. I read.
Daddy worked all P.M.
Got my nomination for National Geo. Society

Friday January 24 1930
Play Vernon to-night.
Had hot pep assembly in preperation [sic].
Got finer wave & hair cut at Clara Morrisons Beauty Parlor.
Got “this” pencil from Curtis Publis[hing] “My Country” as a prize.

Thursday January 23 1930
Maxine won. I couldn’t find out by how much.
At G.R. meeting we practised for Assembly to be held next Wed after which we will take in new members.

Wednesday January 22 1930
Voted for school annual editors. I don’t suppose I’ll win from my opponent Maxine Allspatch.

Tuesday January 21 1930
Bank Day. Our per cent has been poor every since “Mrs. Rathbone” left. [Trella-1993: Rosanna Crow, got married]
Was nominated for Editor of Organizations for school annual.

Monday January 20 1930
History, Latin, English, Study, Algebra & Science. Start reviewing in some subjects. G.R. started selling C. J. H. Sweater Emblems. Bought one.
