S.S. Dinner at home with Gathas. Over at grandma’s with Aunt Mays, Aunt Lily’s & Uncle Allens.
Out to memorial & a good time. They left about 4:00 O’clock.
[Trella Note 1993: Grandma Sheneman lived at 907 N. State. Grandpa Sheneman died there in Nov. 1927.
Saturday April 5 1930
Prepared for Meck’s, Gatha’s, & Herman’s from Cleveland. Helped daddy over at the house. Ate supper at grandma’s with folks from Cleveland.
Brought Gatha’s over here for the night.
Friday April 4 1930
Mary’s birthday. Got her present after school.
Helen & Wilda here.
Skated all over the north end with Tody. State, Patten, Park, Oak, Mary, Silver & etc.
Thursday April 3 1930
Still pretty sniffy. Attended Hansel & Gretel opera. Wonderful. All singing and pretty costumes music & scenery.

Got a terrible cold. Don’t feel like writing much.
Tuesday April 1 1930
Mr. Gabler helping with hobbies & we get somewhere. Had test in all subj.but Latin. One tomorrow in it.
Was supposed to have 20 min. study period & Mr. Baker woldn’t let us have it. I’m mad at him.
Monday March 31 1930
Washed my hair when I got home with Golden Glint.
Played rook over at Mauser’s. Got lessons, made fudge, read, took a bath, listened to Real Folks, am writing in diary. Will go to bed.
