Plenty of study periods to-day.
Miss Howard figuring tickets so got history period & an assignment for failers gave 30 min. More.
Met girls to practice play but no good.
Kids here in eve.

Monday April 28 1930
Had an assembly in P.M. Eighth graders gave a short play. Best yet. Publicity speeches & parts of both plays.
Played ball with kids.

Sunday April 27 1930
Sore from yesterday.
S.S.
Went over around Forest in aft.
Got lessions.

[Trella note 2005: We visited Daddy’s relatives, often Hen & Effie Baker & Mary, Fannie & Floy Baker. Hen was brother of Daddy’s mother Sarah who died when he was 14.]

Saturday April 26 1930
Have had a good time to-day. Kids down in morning to play ball.
Went to Park with Tody in aft. to get flowers.
Bob & Tody & Hedy over in eve. Played cards.
Bob pulled me home from taking Tody (Skating) Played paper over to Mousers till 11:00.

Went to ball game with Mousers.

Thursday April 24 1930
Miss Parks very interesting in her talk of travels. She told of days on board ship, France & Switzerland & pictures.
Bob & Bent Kids down in eve.

Wednesday April 23 1930
Miss Graccio Leggo Houlder from Australia gave a Temperance Talk & some queer things mixed up.
Skated with Pauline.
Watched Mousers play Poker.

Tuesday April 22 1930
Back to school.
Two Science tests. Got 93 & 95
Banking per cent terrible.
Went to library. They’re redecorating it. Painted over to hour house.

Sunday April 20 1930
Attended Sunrise Services at church & G.R.
S.S. & B.Y.P.U.
Lettie Mae Strine married to Leonard Parker.
