Letter from Wally and mother at work this morning wanting me to come home tomorrow. So I guess I will although I have to work. Sure wish I could have been there tonight and seemed the “stand”*. Tried to paint with colored pencils tonight but I guess I’m no artist. Changed my room around again. I just can’t get to bed before 9:30 it seems.

*Probably the first selling of flowers from their home at 229 E. Fairground – later to become Hemmerly’s Flowers.
