Saturday April 30 1932
G.R. hike off because of rain. Worked on dummy for Herald all morning. Mary came after me and took me home from practise. Uncle Meck, Gene & Herman’s family at Aunt Ruth’s. Went over there for a little while.

Friday April 29 1932
Lots of news. Jean dit “Je suis chaud vous et chaud mais je je suis bothered about vous.” I wonder si il le meant. Je disire si. Mary et I went skating by the Harding Memorial. They have it blocked off and have I a blister dans mon pied? Oui.

Thursday April 28 1932
Gym exhibition. Went off pretty good. Got the cutest emblem. G.A.A. When I was putting my skirt on over my gym suit Bill Elliot & Floyd Duffy came by the door & did they turn their heads quickly.

Wednesday April 27 1932
Je practise dans gym sont le derniere cette apres midi. Practised for the guild play for mother-daughter banquet.
Elementry [sic] schools will close May 13 but maybe high school will go a little longer. Mother says I can’t go to the prom cause une robe cost trop.

Tuesday April 26 1932
Such publicity. A jingle about me imagine & I guess J. & I talked too much in study hall to suit some reporter. Got 94 in the lit test we had yesterday. Had French test ought to get around 80.

Monday April 25 1932
M. Jean dit ‘Je faut un tableau de nous dans study hall. ‘Je would like de le voir. Il donner moi un peu do hope mais je ne sais pas. Mon pere [illegible] de livres a la maison. Des sont bon.
Practised for G.A.A. apres l’ecole.

Sunday April 24 1932
Après le dimanche ècole Marie came up ici pour dîner. Nous allons tout à la campagne. L’automobile cease et Marie et je marchons dans la rue. Some boys followed us in their car & causer at Leila we talked in French & had fun.

Saturday April 23 1932
Ladder work.
Practised for G.A.A. at 10
Came à la maison en temp pour dîner avec Marie. Dans l’apres-midi nous allons du villes. Blane Crois travaille sent Je travaille dans le jardin avec mon père et Clarence en le soeur.

Friday April 22 1932
Alice’s Herald is pretty good but—-
Mary B. & I went to “Tarzan” Johnny Weismuller & Maureen O’Sullivan. J. H. ushered but of course he didn’t give me a tumble. Stayed all night with Mary.

Such rushing to get all my things in for G.R. Ring Notebook. Letter, songs, health code, purpose story.
Rally of B.Y. in association at Prospect. Harry drove our car & took B.Bm M.B., P.C, Paul Bibler & me.
