Alice Marie MacMillan came over after dinner and I went calling with her on Franie and could she play the piano and couldn’t her brother play the violin. For the evening Alice asked me to go on a swimming party to Bluebird. But 19 in the back of a big truck. Loads of fun. Too cold for me to swim though.

Had breakfast with Uncle Jim and Flora. About 11:00 we went to the houseboat and rode up the river to the Cascades and then came flying over Hills to Somerset. After dinner I played cards with Jo and Ed and then went Uptown for a with Mary Sheneman and Flora. Uncle Jim took all three kids to the show “Rebecca of Sunnybrook” and then home for watermelon. Enough?
