Easter Sunday
Cold, windy, snowy day. Not over 33 all day.
In to see Mother about 11:30. Mary & Rocky already at hospital. Mother dopey & irritable from sleeping pills & not eating her liquid diet. We went to LK for lunch & I stayed until after 2. – Marcella Haldeman stopped in for frog eggs but told her it was too early.
Worked on historical society reports for meeting tomorrow night.

Mary woke me at 7 with news that she hadn’t been to bed. Mother had called her at 10 last night while she was still routing at shop. Had gall bladder attack. Dr. Whitehead gave shot – no help so took her to hospital about 3 AM.
Easter Saturday went very well – took few orders for delivery & kept ahead of will calls – shop jammed all day.
Mary in to route some. Down to see Mother. Still in pain. Finished deliveries by 5- Loren Heiser good help with Clarence & Dave Hempy.

In at 8:30. Not very busy. Lil & Cindy at 229 wrapping. Home at 7. Letter from Bob accusing Kathi of extravagance & neurosis. Really pathetic and shows how much he needs help, but it convinced me that Kathy must leave him. Called her – she & the kids going to Las Vegas tomorrow to visit Turners & told her she must plan to leave him end of May. She said she already had made the decision.
30 years ago today Walt left for the Navy.

Sunny day – about 60. Scilla & crocus blooming. Tried to increase flow of polluted water from trailer park down my waterway. Did payroll.
