Judy & J. McCardle off sick – Dave’s kidney stones not passed. So Kathi did office work & hospital delivery & I helped with funeral work & delivered: 45 funeral pieces – Caledonia & LaRue. Exhausted when I went to Altrusa Dinner Meeting. Gertrude Mann – prosecutor on Dr. Sam Shephard murder case gave her part in the case. Convinced me that he murdered his wife!

Thursday, September 18, 1975
Another rainy Thursday. Typed final copy of By-laws for Historical Society.
Howard wanted to collect milkweed for Davy so we also got bittersweet, hazelnuts, carrion vine balls & teasels.
Kathi, Bob, kids & I had planned to go to Kingwood but too rainy. Had filet Mignon, baked potatoes, broccoli & cheese cake with Rudesheimer crock wine.
Took walk around Terradise. About 15 kinds of mushrooms under white oak tree.

Dave Price of NCR in & asked Judy to make him a copy of our procedures on Cash Register. I told him I wanted $25 for it. He nearly fainted. Said it was only of use with my Cash Register. So I asked why he wanted it.
Bob & Kathi are tiling around her bathtub where wallpaper was. Also tested tubes on my TV & came out with replacements. He seems much like the Bob we knew before the wedding. Have had no personal talke with him,

Busy funeral work for 2 boys killed – Randy Smith was to have gone with them & didn’t.
Karen & David stopped on their way back from Huron.
At 4:45 to Dr. Lenzo for physical. IO have a little drainage in my throat & some arthritis in my fingers but no internal problems. Everything from blook work within normal range.
To Kathi’s for quick bite & back to shop for Historical Society Board Meeting. Adopted By-laws.
