2 weddings. While I was in LaRue doing 1 bad rainstorm. Blew trees down in Fairground. Use the VW & it’s not bad. Cleaned drawers of Gov. Winthrop desk.

Thursday, September 24, 1970
Worked at shop since I’ve been off so much this week. Fed Dizzy [cat] at the Decker’s. Kenneth Kilbury finished old chest of drawers & moved it to living room. Also cherry wash stand from Axes.

Wednesday, September 23, 1970
Gabrielle Palacios out here for Spanish lesson. In to work at noon. “Glow-worms” around edge of pond. Never saw them before. Decker’s went to Fountain City.

Tuesday, September 22, 1970
Men’s Garden Club & Guests – 70 strong here for their picnic potluck dow bny pond. Isabelle came out to help me. Belt came off riding mower so mowed by hand.

Monday, September 21, 1970
Shirley out cleaning – Me no pep. Kenneth Kilbury working on old chest. In at 4 – shope very busy. Stopped at Decker’s. Mowed & moved lamb’s ear.

Sunday, September 20, 1970
Carpet layers (kitchen) here at 9 & finished about 12:00. Had to move stove, refrigerator, washer & dryer. Mary, Rocky & Mother helped move back. Then to Dover – Warther Museum – kids here for waffle supper.

Saturday, September 19, 1970
In for 12:00 wedding then came out to see how carpet layers were coming – Not here! Dick Barnhart said they couldn’t find me!
First night at Bordeaux for Deckers – I had supper with them.

Friday, September 18, 1970
Decker’s furniture arrived today. I brought the kids home with me & Kathi & Don worked at getting settled until after 12.
1″ rain this AM – Moved things our of kitchen for carpet laying.

Thursday, September 17, 1970
I baby sat Kris PM while Kathi, Don & Davy in to wait delivery on refrigerator. Hung linen-like draperies in new bedroom. Guess I’ll get the ’68 Volkswagen & $800 as Kathi wants to keep the Dodge.
