After 2:30 wedding brought 2 fence posts home & Randy & his dad put them up. Gorgeous day. Took first daffs to shop. About 2 doz.

Friday, April 16, 1971
Quite a hassle at shop at last minute but met Brooks & Jordans at Terradise about 6:15 & we went to Al’s in Cardington for steak dinner – good – Here after for conversation.

Thursday, April 15, 1971
Randy & Kathi & kids out – burned. To Quest Club 50th Anniversary dinner at Women’s CLub Home. Kristi called “Da” & then “Da ee” just like Kathi does for for Davy.

Wednesday, April 14, 1971
Etta Richardson out to clean. I went in at 2:00 – took Forsythia bushes to Mother. Supper at Kathi’s. Home about 10:00. Put gas line in to my property line. First benefit from trailer park.

Tuesday, April 13, 1971
Worked around home till 1:00. Took bean salad to Altrusa Potluck at Electric Company. Rained almost 1/4″ – First this month. Many grass fires because so dry.

Monday, April 12, 1971
Up at 5:30 & in to Kathi’s to stay with kids while she went to Lockbourne for physical – x-rays, etc. Olgua in at 9 to stay. To see Ed Lark on [illegible] = Pd $3,800 balance on ’70 income tax.

Sunday, April 11, 1971
Easter – Beautiful day – sunny 70. Scilla – chionadoxia – blood root – spring beauty – 1 daff blooming. I cleaned pool. Hid Easter baskets for kids down in woods. Mary & Rocky also out. Nice day.

Easter Saturday. Nice day & everything went well. Sold out on plants & pretty close on all else. David good in delivery supervision & Kathy helping corsages. So good to have them working with me.

Friday, April 9, 1971
Left my phone long enough to attend Artesan’s program only. Couldn’t miss hearing Ray Harm – wildlife artist. Worked until 9:30. Kent & Sis still at it but others gone.
