Not busy at shop so enjoyed Karen & David here at home until 2:30. Left for Cincinnati at 4:15 – Took supper to Coffey – then to Briar Knoll* – outdoor opera – David in orchestra – La Tosca – Home at 2:30.

Friday, July 16, 1971
Cleaned house & got to work about 4:00. David & Karen in from Cincinnati & they, Kathi & I to Brown House for dinner. Then to OSUM for “Finian’s Rainbow” – Great. David & Karen bar hopped.

Thursday, July 15, 1971
Randy over about 2:00 worked on walk & moved front. Dietsh out to fix mower on new John Deere 110! I in to work about 4:00.

Wednesday, July 14, 1971
Workshop finished at 2:30 & Kent, Bill Ardle & I took off for Art Museum & then picked up stuff at Paul Miner’s & home by 5:45. Bill toured shop, Kent picked up Kathy, Bill’s wife at airport & they came out here.

Tuesday, July 13, 1971
Workshop made computer billing service look food – but not for me – but other ideas very constructive. Kent & I dinner, walked waterfront & had drink in Marco Polo Room on 19th floor of Holiday Inn.

Monday, July 12, 1971
Picked Kent up at shop at 8:00 & drove to Holiday Inn Toledo for FTD business workshop. Lecture & discussion group presentation – Very thorough. Lunch good talk opportunity. After to Paul Miner for [illegible]. Met Bill Ardle – Springfield – Judy Kuehnle friend.

Sunday, July 11, 1971
Gardened AM Met Marion Co. Historical Society Group at Plaza but I drove & got fouled up so toured McCutcheonville Inn & Indian Mill & Upper Sandusky Museum myself. Took Mother to Waldo for 7:30 wedding.
