Slow day. Genevieve in & getting show room rejuvenated. Picked Mary Jordan up at 7:30 (Carl in hospital) & went to Palace to hear Vincent Price read “Dear Theo” – to Isaly’s after.

Decided to go back to gift show. Took Howard. West German postcards interesting. To Flower Show at Lausche building. Garden displays well done. Warm – in 60’s.

Made out Easter orders. Kent & I to Gift Show in Columbus at 1:00. Didn’t get around by 7:00. Nixon arrived back in Washington from China trip. TV on blink so listened radio.

Cleaned dead stuff out of greenhouse. Amaryllis, hyacinths, lily of the valley blooming. Howard in despairing mood. Took walk to Bee Run. Pic & Lillian Vance dropped in. Bill & Erma for steak.

Met David Spiggles at 552 N. Greenwood to show them house. They called later & said they wanted it. Dick Wilson gave $2,000 estimate & can start Tuesday. Mother at shop to stuff statements. Not too busy. Brad Bills for wedding order.
