Madhouse at shop. Everything under control but too much business. Mary in at 3:00 to dispatch. ___ deliveries ___ orders. Bought Ky Fried Chicken & ice cream for supper. Designers quit about 10 – Kent still there at 1:00 when I left.

Thursday, May 11, 1972
Sunny – high 60;s. Shop busy. Erma Hutchman’s mother – Marie Lockwood died. Had pizza party at 6:00 on Sandy & Cleveland Plant for “Welcome Home” – all worked until 9:00.

Wednesday, May 10, 1972
So tired. Left shop at 3 to be here when Pleasant 4H Garden Club came – about 30 kids & mothers. Watched warblers from kitchen wind after supper. Bed at 9:00.

Tuesday, May 9, 1972
Total rain 3″. River bank full & flooded in from beyond pond. Phones out at shop from wet cable so quiet at shop. Phone 20 out orders from Mary’s. Still tired.

Monday, May 8, 1972
So tired – up at 11 & in to shop at 3:00. Bud didn’t get my plant order & sold out now. To Mary’s for spaghetti supper. Rain all day since 9 last night.

Saturday, May 6, 1972
Met Pauline Shffler & others to show house at 9. Rented to Scheffler – made Cashs mad. Wdding at Cardington at 11:30. Wes delivering. Had cake & ice cream for Maggie’s birthday. Supper at home – bed at 8:00 – Exhausted.

Friday, May 5, 1972
Terradise looks gorgeous- Some daffs & hyacinths & tulips at best. Good to see all at shop. Kent very quiet. I left at 4 to show house to Cash’s. Supper at Ponderosa with Mary & Rocky. Walked around Terradise.

Thursday, May 4, 1972
Don took me to Frankfurt airport. Flew at 12:00. Fix’s from Gary Indi. interesting seat mates for 11 hours. Refueled at Bangor, Me. Kennedy at 5:00. Taxi to LaGuardia. Flew at 7:15 – Columbus at 8:20 – Mary, Rocky & Mother met me & to Terradise.
