Gave last kitten away.
Wore long black skirt & white lego matte blouse for sesqui to work. Picked up stakes and fertilizer at Lockwood’s. Met Mr. Robinaugh at 552 N. Greenwood – wants several things. He wants shower, new garage & yard fenced.

Slept till 9:30. Sally cleaned. Weeded patio bank of grass. Headache PM. Rained 1 1/2″. Mrs. John Street stopped by. Hoch’s over for seedum. Sorted slides into cubes.

Mary called saying she can take vacation in October (so Mother won’t be left in Marion without us) but I’ll cut last week off mine & return about September 23. Picked up 1856 coverlet from Pic for window. Later bought it for $75.

Tuesday, June 27, 1972
Use Emig Early American trivets, mottoes, etc. for table decorations at Altrusa dinner. Last time for me on social committee.

Letter from travel bureau (for FTD) saying I can be included on tour, but conflict with Mary’s vacation. Ruby Graham rented 552 N. Greenwood to Robenaugh’s – $100 mo. + $100 deposit.

Sunday, June 25, 1972
7 AM call from Bertha Flesher. She wanted at spray not a basket for her sister. I went in to do it. But Kent came in & did it & wedding at Waldo. Cooked ribs. Mary, Rocky & Mother out & ran movies I’d spliced. Not too good.

11 weddings, all OK. 11 different churches. Use wrong baskets for Porter! Isabelle, Lillian, Connie, Martha & I serviced them.

High 52. Low 48. Hurrican Agnes flooding Pa., N.Y., Va. & Eastern Ohio. Cloudy & cold here. Flat tire AM. 3rd in a week. 3 weddings tonight. I did Wetzel at Timothy Lutheran. Edited movies. Howard looking better.

Shorty* & I drove to Richmond & visited Hill Floral Supply. George showed us through greenhouses. Left Fountain City about noon with headache. Rain. Went to bed when I got home.
