Deckers & I left Sands in VW for drive to Berchtesgaden. Skirted Munich. B crowded at military hotel.

Kristi nearly fell out of 3rd story window. Did Davy tell her to climb upon sill open window? I went to pieces. To Neroburg to see Russian chapel.

Friday, September 15, 1972
Elnora’s friend Kees Beelk of Boskoop picked us up & took to his home & shrub export area. Took bus to Delft – visited Royal Delft factory – train back to Amsterdam. Late for banquet & sat with big shots. English & Dutch.

Taxi to station, train to Mainz – all my luggage & no one to meet me. I got there at 11:30 & they told Kathi I would be in at 1:00. But waited & she, kids & Bob met me. To Sands apt. in Hainerburg housing area. Hermans there. I rested.

To Brussells – rainy evening. I walked to Guild area but no concert because of rain. Shopped in arcade.

AM – to Louvre with Elmore Brooks. To Versailles – huge – gardens & palace beautiful. Took subway to San Michele Fountain to meet Virgil Wilson – fellow teacher with David – Dinner & then walked St. Germaine area savoring Paris. Delightful.
