Up late & napped from 1 to 3. Raining & cold – checked through mail & that’s about all. So very tired. No word on my blue suitcase.

Wednesday, September 27, 1972
Goodbye to Don at 7. To Davy’s kindergarten & then Kathi, Kristi & I to Frankfurt Airport. Plane flew at 1:15 PM & landed at 4:50 (9:50 German time) – No Blue bag among luggage! – David & Karen met me in Columbus – I am exhausted.

Thursday, September 28, 1972
Got David & Karen up at 3 & they left for Cincinnati Market. I awoke at 10. Howard took me in to shop & to pick up my car about 4:00. Good to see everyone. Home at 6 and to bed.

Tuesday, September 26, 1972
Diarreah & exhaustion so couldn’t go with Inge to Landstuhl shopping. In bed most of day. Don’s slides of April trip in evening & Kathi popped corn. So good to be with just them.

So tired. Packed boxes for shipping. Lunds in evening.

Saturday, September 23, 1972
Kathi shopping etc. I babysat kids. Sands down from Wiesbaden for beef fondue dinner.

Friday, September 22, 1972
Visited Ettal church – magnificent gold & white. To Neuschwanstein Castle. Hard 45 minutes climb but worth it. Bought supper stuff at store that opened for us with my German. Left area 7:30. To Mehlingen 12:30.

Thursday, September 21, 1972
Through Brenner Pass to Vipetino, Italy. Shopping great – wine – purse – scarves – Picnic in park & kids climbed hill & picked wildflowers. To Lindenhof – Oberammergau – overnite at Ettal.

Tuesday, September 19, 1972
Breakfast on balcony. Cloudy so to Salzburg. Up to Hohensalzburg by cable car. Lunch in Gasthaus. Flower stalls fascination – Dried materials. Back to Bertschsgaden.
