Sally cleaning. In to shop about 11:30 after making deliveries yesterday. $4,000, 575 orders. Total 3 days 880 orders. Watched Gary [sic – Cary] Grant in “North by Northwest” on TV – slides back that I took Sunday. Evaluated them.

Wednesday, February 14, 1973
Routed [deliveries] all day – 3 phones busy constantly. Took over 200 orders & turned down another hundred. Only Laura on delivery (Reuben S took short one) until 4 & then had 7 vehicles out. Temp 40 – fog by 5 PM – couldn’t even see driveway at 7000# E. of Caledonia.

Monday, February 12, 1973
First Prisoners of War released. TV full of it. Edna Harrold Hatfield started working. Got all Tuesday orders ready. Alice off sick. Pic doing her work. I wrote payroll – Nicol Smith on “Ireland” at OSUM.

Tuesday, February 13, 1973
Engel shorted us 250 roses but all other suppliers good. Mary in at 3:30 to help on deliveries. Got chicken & cole slaw for shop supper. All worked till 10 & Dave * I till 11:30. Income tax report $30,000 income but have $1,500 refund.

Photographed whole house & used Dave’s “fish eye” lense. Beautiful sunny, snowy day. Walt, Olgua, Denise, Ruby Graham & Pic out for slides of Europe. Walt & Olgua want Kris & Davy to visit.

Saturday, February 10, 1973
Slow day at shop. Showed Laura Kelley church delivery. Conley wedding at Morral United Methodist. Bought 3 steaks at Caledonia $3.34. Broiled one for supper.

Cleaned desk drawers. In to shop at 5:30. Lense from Kathy8 & box from Howard. Called Genevieve Beers & she said he was homesick when they visited him. To Harding for 1933 reunion plans. To Isaly’s with BBB, Rosina & Mary Jordan

Picked Erma up for Artisan’s at Country Club. [illegible] pictures from Italy gave history of sculpture & modelled Judy Daum.
