59 funeral pieces today – & I left at 2:30 with Margaret Iams for Columbus. Visited Garden Show – Not much – Downtown to Chuck’s Camera Shop – Bought $80 used 35mm 2.8 Nikkor Lense & $150 used 200 mm .4 lense. To Nikon School – Just great.

Had to wait 40 minutes to get into Fite Memorial Church for 2:30 wedding they had told me was at 2:00. 2 more evening weddings. Peter Shifflet’s 2nd Sat. & he doesn’t seem too smart. Use my tape recorder to program him.

Met Margaret Iams at Freeway & to Columbus Hospitality Inn for all day Nikon Photographic School conducted by Fred Sesson & Dave Brady – 2 fabulous pros – taped about 5 hrs of the 10. Ate at Tree House & home about 9:00.

Sally called in sick so I “played” all day – camera – greenhouse – drawers – sorted European trip mementos. Dave & Sis made a soft blanket for Bob Allen’s Mother’s casket. 9 doz. carnations.

Board meeting of Historical Society – John Beers as new President not much more push than Charlton Myers, but new board members backed my “pushing” – Caroll Neidhart interested in Mound Builder finds in Marion County.

Beautiful day – took wedding for Ludwig to Kirkpatrick too early so visited Genevieve. Saw meadowlarks among Starlings. Stopped at Mary & Rocky’s on way home to help plan their European trip.
