Friday, March 16, 1973
Colder – in 40’s & rain tonight. Got Easter orders ready. Dave back to work – looks pale. Raccoon on deck while I watched TV – Sally cleaned. David called & got meat orders from shop people.

Saturday, March 17, 1973
Snow started at noon – St. Mary’s wedding & Kennedy Hall reception at 1:00. To Radnor at 2 & blizzard conditions. Back at 4:45. Started to Kenton with wedding & made it to Rhoads east of Meeker. Couldn’t see to drive. Made it back to Mary’s about 8. Stayed all night – exhausted.

Flood over pond. Rueben Smith out to see what work I want done. Beautiful blue scky 70. Dug out pots & tulips & planted in ground. Too tall to sell. Marcella Haldeman & I dinner at Hotel & to Mozart Salzburg Concert.

Wednesday, March 14, 1973
Dave Woessner off with flu. Connie won’t be back until April 1 – Hepatitis. Unpacking shipment. 12 at Flower Arranging Class. Did line arrangement.

Tuesday, March 13, 1973
In to work for about an hr. & then home to bed for rest of day. Mary & Rocky out – decided to fly Icelandic. I paid $100 toward kids (Davy & Kristi) for this summer. Missed both Altrusa & Jane Barr’s shower.

Sunday, March 11, 1973
Planted bulbs I didn’t get in last fall. Daffs up 6″ – crocus & scilla blooming. Temp about 70. Made terrariums. In at 3 & took wedding West of Pharisburg. Picked Mother up at Ruby’s in Richwood. To Jim & Ann Schultz for dinner.

Monday, March 12, 1973
Developed a sore throat & cold. Wrote business checks. 2 wedding appointments. To Mary’s for supper. Have plans started for building on a room for Mother. Didn’t go to Burroughs – Zugspitze slides back.
