Howard & I cruised “Mound” area in rain. Jackie, Jim & Ann out to see Howard. Bob Sands called from Cleveland on way to Kansas City from Wiesbaden to reassure me Kathi & Don had no influence on his & Inge’s divorce. I expect someday he will be my son-in-law!

Connie in. Will be able to work 1/2 days starting next week. 3 wedding appointments. TV tonight instead of working on pictures for Quest Club program.

Saturday, March 24, 1973
Loren [Baker, of Forest, Ohio] stopped at shop. Asked him & Mother out for supper. “Prepared” chicken & my cole slaw & potatoes. Showed European movies & traced Baker relatives. Made terrariums AM.

Wrote to Inge Sands & Kathi – Hope I didn’t say too much. Told Inge I would give her a job. Howard home from Florida. Left there early Sunday. Glad to have him back. Martha & I to Gift Show in Columbus.

Last class for Artisans on flower arranging. Then Graydale Sorority came in for Martha’s demonstration. Makes a long day!

Monday, March 19, 1973
David in to Dr. Vornholt. Karen & I in about 11:00. Back to shop at 6 & we had dinner at Mike’s then price shopped meat at Big Bear. To Ed Lark “Old West”. Letter from Inge Sands saying she & Bob will divorce. And from Kathi saying she & Don having counseling.
