Howard & I to Waite’s & Kaelber’s woods. Trilliums, violets, gorgeous. Saw red br. grosbeaks. Dug things. Mary, Rocky & Mother out about 6:30. Made about 6 terrariums.

Delivered “Black” wedding to Ballentine Ave. AM. Mike brot plants from Engels. Shopped groceries. Sis off sick. Not too busy. Unpacked Eibling & Ruess order – mostly geranium.

Brot Betty Lou Mason’s wedding to Caledonia about 2. Did Calvary wedding at 6 & napped at shop til 7:30. Mary & Rocky picked me up & we all wntl to Marion Little Theatre “Forty Carets” – Home at 11:15. Sis off sick.

Howard & I to Urbana to pick up plants at Murphy’s. Visited Bill’s Flower Shop. Brought plants here. Made terrariums. In to shop to pick up things for demonstration for Greenwood St. Church. Mother-Daughter dinner.

2 female Evening Grosbeaks at feeder. Bought 2 pants suits at Uhler’s. Teeth cleaned at Dr. Vornholt’s. Letter from Kathy. 2nd Mob moving to Wiesbaden June to Aug. Picked up Madge & Howard Guthery for wild flower trip W of LaRue. Rained! Got hepaticas. David called – They had 3 days along Skyline Drive.

Not too busy – Sis not well & went home at 2:30. Terradise b’ful tonight. Set out wildflowers from Fred Smith’s & 10 C’mas fern from Boyds Nursery. Reading “Chariot of the Gods” by Erich Daniken.

Fred Smith called saying his woods full of bloom. Picked Howard up & went out about 6:00 – Not as good as Mrs. Waites but took pictures.

Cold & cloudy – Temp 57 for Open Garden. About 200 – Daffs almost gone. Appeldorn Tulips at peak. Crabs – Redbud – Saw Pair of Bluebirds in “Decker Grove”. Marcella & Martha at 7 & more Italy trip plans.

Took Edna Hatfield with me to Emmanuel Lutheran & First United Church of Christ as training for June. My Royal Albert “Winsome” bone china dishes arrived. $225 wholesale.
