Friday December 22nd 1978 Sunny 40 degrees
Exhausted all day. Routed 200 orders, but everything’s a blur. Al in with more pictures. Carroll in and I was too busy to show him how to use camera. Clara into help on History. Got first three deliveries ready for tomorrow. Home at 9:30. Wrapped undershirts with girls checks inside. Will give boys candy. To bed at 11.

Thursday December 21st 1970
Routed. ingredients to Randi Woessner and she made chili. All went over there to eat it. Why does Andrea scream like that? Lakewood got the 125 poinsettias there just in time for the 32 go to L&K. Excellent quality. Chester Scott’s brother died early today after being practically in a coma for 2 years! Worked until 10 others still there my heels hurt like the bone is bruised. Carroll in to OK bid proposal. Sent copy to Dr.Ginn.

Wednesday December 20th 1978
Routed. Belli gave me the usual for filet mignon steaks! Got haircut and set at 4:30. Forrest Loudenslager in with agricultural history. Ordered 100 more poinsettias from Lakewood. They will deliver tomorrow. Clara in working. Dinner with the gang at Turoff’s. Madeline, the waitress, had candles and cookies on our table. Back to shop to route tomorrow’s deliveries. Home at 8:30. Edited histories until 2 when I should have been writing bonus checks!
