Sunday June 17th 1979
Howard and I went to Crum’s Berry Farm at 1:00 and in 15 minutes had picked 8 qts. berries- $5.60. Gorgeous berries. Took a quart to mother.
Wrote letters to Vivian, Kathy, Jackye.
Weeded around pansy bed at front driveway.
Am beginning to feel a little rested from the long pull on the book.

Friday June 15th 1979
Tom Bain and Bernard Brooks had their work done and I finished putting photos in and was almost ready when the two Steve’s came to pack the manuscript. Made a copy of the photo M/S to check picas and before I knew it the book was all packed ready to ship UPS Air. They left at 3 and about 4 I picked up copy of Kathi’s Hemmerly’s stock certificates to mail to her to help them get loan on their new house. Picked mother up and took her with me to UPS. Back to the shop and Mary and Kenny by to drop off their itinerary- leaving tomorrow for Banff. Went to supper with them at Isaly’s.
Home by 6:30. So very, very tired.
Kathi called about 7:30 to tell me they got my check and their loan is approved. Probably closed deal by July 3rd but maybe can move in sooner.

Thursday June 14th 1979
Woke at 12. Environmental Protection Agency kids here “to measure discharge of effluent from Trailer Park”- none flowing this time of year!
To work on book at 1 in rec room. Hot upstairs
Cliff Mitchell out about 9 and checked photos for me and we finished at 2:15 am. Whoopee!
Except for checking a few things I’m ready for Steve tomorrow.
Tom Bain put all biographies in envelopes at his house.
Hopefully Bernard Brooks finished doing the township layouts I started.

Wednesday June 13th 1979
Bernard and Cliff Mitchell helped until 11. I worked until 2:45 on layouts for Township title Pages. Home at 3 a.m. Bed!

Monday June 11th 1979
3 wedding appointments and time to withdraw $1,500 to send to Kathi and Bob for down payment on house in Reno.
And the rest of the time on book.
Home at 7 and worked from 8:30 to 1:35 heading pictures and on townships.
Bed at 1:50.

Sunday June 10th 1979
Slept until 12.
Worked all day on book.
Township histories & final on County- City- General- finally the contact order for them jelled.
Strawberry Shortcake at 4:30.
Ham at 10:30.
Bed at 2:00.
