Cheryl called me to tell me the brown line proofs of the book was ready in my office. Post office delivered at 8:30. Also she wanted to talk to me. Dave and she have parted. She says Dave’s idea, but I think she has made it impossible for him to stay.
Corrected the 26 pages of the MCHS program book and took it to Big Red Quick Print. They will try to have it by Wednesday for the meeting. Al Coen from Lyon Ribbon in for 2 hours. Had called Leota Gates to line up people to “pagenote” the last 208 pages. The book is 809 pages now so our profit will be about $10,000 when the extra 550 are sold. So after Al left I started to get the packets ready but some got there before I was ready. Betty James picked up the first 600 for proof reading.
About 6 calls on renting the Normandy house but no time to follow them up. To Al Tozer’s to pick up dissolve unit to use for slideshow tomorrow. He gave complete lesson. Got my trays ready.

Sharon Smith (Robert and Marilyn’s daughter- I did their wedding) wedding at St Mary’s. Worked on membership list of MCHS for program book all afternoon. Hal Boncutters job, but he’s been at it since August 21st and hasn’t gotten it ready. Did bring a picture of Eber Baker for the cover.
Mary, Kenny, Mary B. and Carl picked me up at 4:30 and we drove to Bucyrus for dinner at the Brown Derby. Had red snapper but swapped half for half of Kenny’s steak. We all ordered champagne sherbet- actually grape ice cream- and the serving was about 1/2 pint. Couldn’t believe it was only $0.65. Stopped at Oberlander’s for cider and melons and Hecker’s to see new room. Chased sunset on the way home to get a photo. Worked 3 hours on typing program book “camera ready”.
