In to work at shop. Mr. Tobin of Western Southern brought check for $5,096 for Ray’s Insurance. Deposited $4500 at Marion Federal & $596 at Fahey checking. Saw Frank Spencer at bank. Took corn to Paris & he’s been sick. Corn & manure to Dad Romine. Mother & Daddy & Mary out – brought “Fella II” [cat[ Gave Daddy Ray’s clothes.

Made Tomatoe [sic] Soup – no recipe. Sold Toronto Star “Winter Day” In at 1:00 & did Moore wedding & 12 Omar corsage. Aunt May, Floy Morris, Macy & Dale* up to see Grandma Sheneman & then on out here. Back in & took Kathy & David to see “Gone With the Wind”. 3rd time for me. Ended up with headache so stayed at folks all night.

Finished catsup – got 14 bottles. Sold Better Homes & Gardens “Just Desserts” after 28 times out. Daddy took Chev in & had Butlers* polish it. Looks good. Got David’s glasses & went collecting. Got $19.50. Daddy ‘n Mother brought us home & had JerZee**.
