Mother & Daddy left at 9 for Florida. Dick Grimm & I at shop. 11 funeral pieces. Bill & Erma Hutchman out tonight & brought tomato plant, ivy & misc. Bill shovelled stone away from garage door. Me to Girl Scout Board meeting. David to Mary’s & Kathy to see “Battle Hymn”.

Sunday, February 24, 1957
In at 9 & finished Lehner-Harsh wedding for Prospect. Picked David up at Mike Leonard’s & then picked Harry Horton up & brought him out with us. David & Harry rolled boat into river. Me in bed – headache. Kathy to MYF with Pat Esterline.

Saturday, February 23, 1957
In at 7:15 for 8:15 wedding & 10:00 wedding. Home at 6:16 – Took Karhy to Swishers to go to game. Alice, Milan & Graydon Gorby here when I got back. Nice evening with stamps, greenhouse, birds. Baby growing.

Friday, February 22, 1957
Kids off school so didn’t go in until 2:00. Kathy & I worked on weddings for tomorrow. David to Mike Leonards for weekend. Kathy & I shopped for her dress material & girdles for both.

Thursday, February 21, 1957
Day off. Worked sorting slides nearly all day. Planted dahlia, feverfew, ageratum, geranium etc & tested soil in greenhouse. In at 5 to take Kathy to trumpet lesson. Got David new shoes.

Sixteen corsages & umpteen funerals – 4 sprays. Supper at Mary’s. Kids to tournament & I to Barber Shop Quartet thing with Mary Jordan. Six groups in costume etc. -good. Patio after & home about 11:00. Helen Hanning cleaned today.
