Walk up Fifth Ave to a church on 47th for conference. I went to a camera shop. Took my group on Staten Island Ferry, Chinatown & Promenade at Rockefeller Plaza. On train at 8 – ready to go home.

Thursday, April 25, 1957
All day at the United Nations Buildings. A tour AM & a session of the Economic & Social Council. Conferences with 3 types of UN workers in P.M. Dinner at ____ then shpping at Macys. Kathy got her formal for prom $25.

Wednesday, April 24, 1957
Off train at to the Governor Clinton Hotel across from Penn Station. Rooms not ready. Down Fifth Ave to Methodist Headquarters. Lunch at a cafeteria. Buses to Hayden Planetarium & St. John’s Cathedral. To Radio City “Funny Face” & the Easter Spectacular. Walked back to hotel through Times Square.

Kathy & I & Pat Esterline to Mansfield (after Ken Silverthorne changed tire for us.) to meet group of MYF kids off for New York on Pennsylvania RR train. Group of 75. Not much sleep.
