Took Howard to Caledonia to bank & grocery. Mary out & got video working to copy. She knows how to push the right buttons. Started taking up brick by greenhouse that don’t match. Cut off bamboo in greenhouse beds & cleaned up area. Cleaned part of garage so guys can get in to service water softener.
All that wore me out – C allied Dean Hazard’s office & set up date for Thursday at 1:30 for visit to Terradise.
Back out & cleaned up leaves around steps & moved old bricks to pile by stone wall.
Mary brought birthday gift out from Kathi – cuddly gray zippered & hooded sweat shirt. With $20 check in pocket. Also sent Oneida pewter angel.

38-43 windy chil factor 30
Brick files 6 hrs
Called David about 8:00 to have him add “0” to 999 by modem. Says Josh calls from France every night – homesick I guess. Worked on files until noon. Mary out to help unload TV – put it in Rec Room. Then she hooked up other TV through the VCR so I can tune it through VCR.
Ruth Mosher out about 1:00 for a “Users Group” meeting – She has WS4 so I gave her my WS5.5 disks to use Maillist since she doesn’t have a data base program. She commented that she knows of no other “Mother-Son” relationship like David & I have – working so closely – learning from him. She’s worried about Chuck’s inability to concentrate. Took a walk around the house.
Finished taking geraniums etc into greenhouse. Covered fish tub geraniums with pool liner.
Kathi called saying earthquake in Reno was noticeable but no damage. James “Buster” Douglas no longer heavy-weight champion. 3rd round knockout Evander Holy – stupid.

Worked on brick data base. In to HH at 1:00 for my “volunteer duty” for Wyandot Museum. Fred White in to see the Ray Romine cartoon that he donated. I couldn’t find it & called John Hickson & he had never seen it (Later Dick West found it on John’s desk). Eula protesting Jack’s continued expenditures. Ruth Mosher concerned about Camp Perry people who want to publish history of camp but all they’ve done is collect material.
Mary picked my TV for me (repair shop closes at noon) & brought it to HH to lead into my car. To dinner with her at Perkins. Home at 5 & took walk in woods under golden maples, sycamores & beech.
