Entered Marion County Roads into database for use of Hemmerly’s for delivery.
In to Nye’s at 3:30- Willis had concerns about purchasing huge road roller in Edison and getting the corn husking machine back to the museum after the fair. He thinks it’s too much to ask Bob Schwaderer to move it but doesn’t want it left at the fairgrounds storage building- concerned for safety.
Took notice of my Open Garden on April 30th to News Life and the Star. Picked up my corrected state income estimated tax report. Instead of $0 I have $600 to pay!
Supper with Mary at Bob Evans- had mush and sausage. got $100 cash from money machine. Shopped at Big Bear using coupons for cereal, paper towels and ‘Slice’. Bananas were 59 cents a pound there. so I went to Kroger’s and got them for 49 cents.
Walk in woods still water in Vernal pool but ground drying up. some daffs ruined by mud from flood but only the ones that were out then.

Checked my state income tax and found Sue at Holbrook Manter & Rogers had not listed an amount for tax and therefore showed I didn’t owe any estimated tax! Called and she will refigure.

Wrote letters to Kristi and Dave. Sure do miss Duffy jumping up on my lap as I sit at the computer. Too cold to seed and fertilize front lawn.

Finished entering Marion streets into a database to assist in sorting deliveries at Hemmerly’s. There are over 500 streets with numbers on them!
To post office to mail Uncle Will’s 1896 bicycle trip to Uncle Allen. Forwarded Prime Computer proxy material today. In to Marion- picked up income tax get refunds of over $400 state and federal but it will be applied on my April estimated tax payments. Deposited $40 check Kristi sent me on loan- balance 560 dollars! To Center to try out key I got for Harry Bard- It works. called Harry and he wants me and the Nye’s to go with him to see miniature Colts at Sycamore. To shop to leave city directory and finish copying the introductory page of Uncle Will’s trip. Took them to Mary to collate. Copied jet lag article from New Health book I got in the mail. Copied Smithsonian article on smoking to send to Dave. Took deposit slips for interest to Field and Tiny Tenders popcorn for them to try and plant. Stopped at Wendy’s and picked up chili and a frosty.
Call from woman from Salem, Oregon researching Hofstetter family. Also call from Marylyn Simmon wanting date her troop can visit Terradise. Set April 25th. Watched Monday night TV- Designing Women, Newhart and Kate and Allie, news.

Walked in woods to check flood damage- still muddy not too much debris. Unclogged feeder pipe to pond. Entered streets into database. In to shop and Mary helped me run and collate the Will Sheneman trip. Out here to share a pizza.

To Wooster for Rweg 4 meeting – 65 mi – 75 min on Rt. 30. Cris Nixon carried ball nicely as new Regional Rep. Nice participation session- about 15 groups represented. Nice presentation on oral history by Dr. Karen Taylor interviewing Wayne County old timer. Dr. Dick Werster of Canton his usual obnoxious self- wanted to know if all award projects were verified- asked me to call him!

In at 11:45 for permanent at Marsha Ebler’s Styling Salon up to $28 from $25 and gasoline is up to $1.04 a gallon because of the Exxon oil spill in Alaska- phooey. Stopped at Mary’s and told her Duffy had died.
