Kathi woke me at 6:30 while I was dreaming Mary and I returned home by bus that took us to Mother’s front door. Mother came through the old curtain that hung in the door to her bedroom and Roger was on the davenport along that wall before the house was remodeled.
Kathi took us to Reno-Cannon Airport for 8:06 departure American Airlines (11:06 Marion time). Flew over Sierras to Sacramento- took off again at 9:18 back over Sierras just peeking out of smoke. Couple from Paris were my seat mates. Less than 4 hours for flight that took Mary and me 5 days in June. Touchdown at 1:11 [for] 2-hour layover in Chicago. In Columbus at 5:30. Geneva Brewer and grandchildren picked us up and delivered me to my door.
