Sunday, January 25, 1953
Colder, somewhat, with wind & snow. I wrote letters am-pm. Trella & I made place cards my place, supped her house & had David’s Birthday “party” there same time. Home early.

Saturday, January 24, 1953
Snowed about all day, but melted as it fell. To Trella’s for lunch. Tonite we visited Dad ‘n Cora & went square dancing at 4! 1st time 2 yrs?? Home here late – 12:40.

Friday, January 23, 1953
Warm day – almost. Trella & Erma to COlumbus; home at 7 (Trella called). I pomed, (wrote 5 today!) napped, went Trella’s about 9.

Thursday, January 22, 1953
Nice coldish day to work – 30 odd or 40? Trella had car, got adjustment settled about Ray’s hitting it. Was late getting me – cried! Home tonite, pomes & letters, selling a long one to Post?? (Rewrote & remailed it)

Wednesday, January 21, 1953
Colder? (Day off) Atr 12 to Trella’s for lunch, we went see Lockwood’s Farm, with Bill Hutchman, then to Acres, met Jno. Reed, “surveyed” at bit’ bacl, shopped, bout Wedding Rings, got my new suit, supper at Trella’s/ left 10, not feeling too good.

Tuesday, January 20, 1953
Had a bit of sinusitis, & used start of rain at 6:45 as excuse to stay home – worked all day, mostly on attic stuff. To Trella’s tonitie – specifications & eats. Home 1: +.

Monday, January 19, 1953
Nice walking, not too cold. To Trella’s for lunch. Spent evening, after pressing 3 prs pants & supper & nap, working in basement – whew!

Sunday, January 18, 1953
Mild, mostly sunny. Trella & I spent it nearly all in her basement & attic, getting “set”; nice time we had, even [shorthand] television theatre tonite & lunch. + I had dinner & supper there too!

Saturday, January 17, 1953
Awful – rained, & froze & rained. Impossible walking. Had Sandy tonite – she cooked our supper & we TV’d till 10:30. Nice, enjoyable evening.

Friday, January 16, 1953
($142.74) To Trella’s for lunch. Tonite, cleaned up, we went Marion Supply – got me new $50 suite, at out, went see John Reed at Cardington 1st time. Bed 1:00. Foo.
