Donnie Foertsch came about 8:45 – had called AAA towing & man here & charged battery – I had left overhead light on since Tues!
To Marion & stopped at Young’s – battery tested OK & alternator. To Mary Priors to pick up stout front desk – Walston gave me envelope of money to pay for secretary I sold him – Pd $180 – he gave me $200. When we got desk home found a tiny slip of paper in small drawer C. Janbroers – Thorbeckerstraat 59 Zanderwart-Terfoon (02507) 4815 Gen Gire J65 – I knew it was German! Mary had lived in Kaiserslautern for a couple of years. Donnie took plastic off greenhouse & brought deck furniture from shed – transplanted variegated celery plant, dug lily of valley & re-stacked bricks on pavement (off bed by lower driveway) $35.
In to HH – accessioned Bill Elliott pictures & topo maps – Eula Rhoads putting HH labels in all Resource Center Books – helped me make a list of C. Meyers Harding items from magazines that were in a Hollinger box. Willis Thomas in. His drawings for his Marion Co Indian books are great – Talked him into taking Bob Sands & me to new Bunker Hill development on a mound on Maple Grove Rd. Took Wendy’s supper to Mary’s. Grocery shopped Kroger.
