Cleaned camera equipment and binoculars. Got clothes out for trip.
Took Howard out to see snow. It’s rolled up long north-south roads like huge cotton bats. Higher than I can reach and that after 4 days of melting. Called at Timson-Allen for Mary Cooper. Midwest average January temperature was 11 degrees. Coldest ever recorded since 1758.1856 next coldest 12 degrees.
My gas bill was $93 but I don’t think meter was read.
Walked in the woods on top of the snow! When I broke through it was to my knees. David called saying he’ll be up next Monday.
