Sunday July 11th 1976 Hi 94 low 70
Howard and I to Mrs. Waite’s woods To gather Trillium seed. Most of it had dropped off- did something eat it? Wayne Cochran harvesting wheat in next field said he had seen five deer beside Woods last week. Planted what seed we did find where not mowed near trees. In future years someone will deduce that we mowed off all of the trilliums except where the trees protected them!
Read Columbus Dispatch Bicentennial magazine section of last week on Ohio from 1776 to 1803. Cooked pot roast and fresh sweet corn for supper. Kathi and I Columbus to see Harvey Corman in “Norman, Is That You?” Didn’t know the play was about parents finding out their son was a homosexual!
