Kathy last chicken pox scales coming off.
Rained all day – rivers coming up – farmers really worried about planing. Only 10% of corn is in. We don’t have ours planted.
Worked all day on clothes. Even started packing bags. Mended things etc.
Had planned to go look at iris but too much rain. Mary was going to take bus to Columbus but it got flooded out. So Wally took her about 6:30. Betty decided to go down & stay too since Wally along. Didn’t even ask me if I wanted to go. It was Circle Meeting but thought I’d better stay with kids since he wasn’t here. Worked until 9:30 anyway.
Made 2 corsages. One of roses from same bunch I got Thursday in Columbus & one of painted daisies. $2.00 & $1.50.
Sent a box of baby things down to Aunt Lily for Marcella.
Wally home about 10:30. Took Betty to Aunt May’s. Nice business – Florence along instead of me.
Washed my hair. Can talk a little better.
