House cleaning – Wally went to Columbus to Bank meeting & Ray was to pick me up at 7 to got to their house. But when he called at 4:30 I could see I wasn’t going to get through – cleaning bookcases – washing woodwork & painting baseboard so told him couldn’t come.
Still working at 7 when Ray would have been coming up after me. Got the kids to bed & stoppped work about 9 & got cleaned up a little. Had hopes but as usual came to nothing. Wally had got to Romines about 8:45 & stayed until 11:00 to spite me for not coming. I got roasted and-how for “spoiling” his evening. No credit at all for the work I did – and which if I’d had help on I could have gone too. Tried to go to sleep but got up & cleaned paper. Wally twisted my arm & it bothers me.
