Lava M. called at 9 asking if this was Francis L. Franklin. I agreed & she said she had been quite interested in the article.
Started cleaning with a vengeance. Gave bathroom door another coat of paing & started on bedroom. Don’t know how that small closet contained all those clothes. Peted [sic?] the bed high. But got first coat on bath doo & one window.
Wally shopped for groceries for me so I could get through. But he spent $12 of the $15 I get from him every 2 weeks.
Rushed supper & bath to met Ray & Flo for “Sea of Grass” Very engrossing – & tear jerking.
Then to Romines for coffee & cookies. Ray said they are not going Tuesday because Flo is fed up with watching my kids. Also put oon about the address being on FLF article (in case he ever geets around to wrting one someone might connect him with me) Flo also went into her routinge about how awful I looked in the jodphurs I bought. Wally tried to stick up for me & made it worse.
