David put 2 words together on his own. It started snowing after Wally got home from the bank so he wanted to go for a ride. Stopped at Library & then to Union Bakery for some fried rolls. We were all eating them & after David finished his first one he set up a holler. I said “What do you want, David?” & he pointed to the rolls & said “Want some.”
Went over home after supper to play ping pong. Daddy went to Dr. while we were there. Swelling is gone from his knee & they think it is cracked. Have taken several X-Rays but they didn’t turn out. He has been working though.
While bathing kids Flo called to see if we were going to Columbus tomorrow what with the cold & snow. I said I was leaving it up to Ray. Then she asked to talk to Wally – who had been shoveling snow – & invited him to supper tomorrow night.
