To Myers & picked up a cart (in a box) Mary will come out Sat. & help me set it up.
Mary Jordan home from hospital- Made a bokay of my daisies & bellflowers – Tucked in a card with a check for $250 – & suggested “we go shopping”.

MCHS 5 hrs to Cols + membership update.
To Cols to meet Melinda Davies at Ohio Hist Soc.
Tami (?) in photo collection completely ignored me – even talked to Melinda when she answered my questions. Photos are catalogued much like books. But mostly by “knowing” where they are when we got down to it. Gave us name of computer program that we can get $25 demo.
To Local History Office to introduce Melinda to Richard Francoviglia & return book.
Mary didn’t go with me because tree men were coming to remove top of tree. Came right home & slept.
Mowed from 5 to 7:30.
Marilee Augenstein called Mary H. & said Dr. was very positive after Mary J’s surgery.

Howard is 88 today – Kathi called to wish him “happy birthday”. She & Bob are expecting Susen to visit next week – last week in June they will fly to NY to visit her & go to Bob’s Class Reunion at Highland Falls.
Gave Howard 10 crossword puzzle books & 2 – 2 liter bottles of Sprite. He thinks is full of vitamins!
Gardened all morning. Cleaned up greenhouse some & worked on new bed at lower entrance.
Wrote letter to Guy Denny of Division of Natural Areas asking him to visit Terradise to evaluate it for a Nature Center for OSUM.*
At 4- Matt McCoy of McCoys Landscaping Service here. Did a walk around & he listed 6 projects I may want done. Will give designs & estimate in about a month. Was very interested in King Book & bought one.
[*this visit sparked the designation of Terradise as an Ohio Natural Landmark in December, 1990]
